We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Sales Manager based in India, specializing in steel scrap or steel sales for the European and US markets . The ideal candidate should have a strong background in international sales, market development, and client relationship management within the steel industry. Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement sales strategies for steel scrap/steel in the European and US markets. Identify potential buyers, traders, and distributors to expand business opportunities. Build and maintain strong relationships with steel mills, scrap processors, and key industry stakeholders. Conduct market research to analyze demand, pricing trends, and competitive landscape. Negotiate pricing, contracts, and delivery terms with customers and suppliers. Ensure compliance with international trade regulations and export requirements. Collaborate with logistics and operations teams to ensure seamless order fulfillment. Prepare sales forecasts, performance reports, and market insights. Attend industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events to generate business leads. Requirements: Bachelors degree in Business, Sales, Metallurgy, or a related field. 9+ years of experience in sales of steel scrap or steel products, specifically targeting European and US markets. Strong understanding of international trade, supply chain management, and steel industry dynamics. Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills. Ability to work independently and coordinate with international clients from India. Proficiency in CRM tools and sales analytics. Fluency in English; additional European languages are a plus. Willingness to travel internationally as needed.
