Sales Manager

As a Sales Manager for construction equipment in Indore, you will play a key role in driving sales of excavators, backhoe loaders, compactors, and other heavy equipment. Your responsibilities will include achieving sales targets, developing sales strategies, managing a team of sales executives, and analyzing performance reports. To excel in this role, you should have a strong sales background in the construction/heavy equipment industry and possess excellent communication and leadership skills. A willingness to travel within the assigned territory is also essential. Key Responsibilities: - Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for the assigned territory. - Conduct regular market visits to understand customer needs, competitor activities, and market trends. - Develop and implement sales strategies to expand market share and improve profitability. - Lead and motivate a team of sales executives, providing training and tracking performance. - Monitor and follow up on leads, inquiries, quotations, and order conversions. - Generate and analyze sales reports to track performance and identify areas for improvement. Qualifications Required: - Bachelors degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field. MBA is a plus. - 7+ years of sales experience in the construction/heavy equipment industry. - Strong understanding of products like excavators, backhoe loaders, bulldozers, and similar equipment. - Proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing large client accounts. - Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills. - Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
