The Marine Sales & Marketing Manager (Business Development) for Marine Hooks & Nets will be responsible for driving the growth of the company's market share, identifying and developing new business opportunities, and managing relationships with key clients within the marine sector. Key Responsibilities: Sales Strategy Development: Create and implement effective sales strategies for Marine Hooks & Nets, ensuring revenue growth and market penetration. Business Development: Identify new business opportunities in the marine sector, including fisheries, marine businesses, and distributors. Focus on lead generation and customer acquisition to expand the business. Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key clients and stakeholders in the marine industry to ensure business retention and repeat sales. Product Promotion & Branding: Oversee the promotion of marine products, ensuring effective branding and marketing campaigns that resonate with target customers. Collaboration with R&D & Operations: Work closely with the Research & Development and Operations teams to align sales strategies with product development, ensuring product offerings meet market demands. Market Monitoring & Competitor Analysis: Keep a close watch on market trends, competitor activities, and evolving customer needs to adapt and refine sales strategies. Sales Negotiations & Contracts: Lead and manage sales negotiations, set competitive pricing strategies, and draft contract agreements to secure profitable deals. Sales Forecasting & Reporting: Prepare accurate sales forecasts, reports, and presentations for management review to track progress and align with business goals. Regulatory Compliance & Quality Assurance: Ensure that all sales activities comply with industry regulations and quality standards. Travel & Networking: Travel to client locations, exhibitions, and events for business expansion, networking, and relationship building. Required Skill Set: Proven Experience: A solid track record in sales within the marine industry or a related field, with a strong focus on business development. Client Relationship Management: Expertise in managing client relationships and business partnerships, ensuring long-term success. Excellent Communication Skills: Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to interact confidently with clients and stakeholders. Industry Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of marine industry products, specifically marine hooks & nets. Tech-Savvy: Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with CRM software, ERP systems, and other sales management tools. Target-Oriented: Ability to thrive in a target-driven sales environment, with a focus on achieving and surpassing sales goals. Experience: Minimum Experience: 6+ years in sales, preferably as a sales coordinator or in a similar role within the marine or related industry.
