Job Description

Looking for Sales Manager with expertise in developing sales strategies, leading and mentoring a sales team to meet targets, and managing client and distributor relationships. Key responsibilities involve analyzing market trends, executing promotional activities, ensuring product availability through efficient distribution, and reporting sales performance to senior management. The role requires strong communication, negotiation, and leadership skills to drive revenue growth within a specific territory or region. Key responsibilities

  • Sales strategy and execution: Develop and implement sales plans to achieve business objectives and market share goals.
  • Team leadership: Recruit, train, and manage a team of sales representatives and supervisors, providing coaching and performance management.
  • Client and distributor management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, distributors, and retail partners.
  • Market analysis: Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and sales data to identify new opportunities and inform strategy.
  • Promotional activities: Plan and execute sales promotions, new product launches, and trade marketing initiatives.
  • Operations and logistics: Ensure sufficient product availability in the market and smooth supply chain flow.
  • Reporting: Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and market insights to senior management.
  • Negotiation: Negotiate contracts and terms with clients and partners.

Skills and qualifications

  • Proven ability in sales, with experience in the fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) sector.
  • Strong leadership, coaching, and people management skills.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
  • Solid understanding of sales planning, territory management, and performance management.
  • Customer-focused with strong relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to work proactively and meet sales targets.
  • A valid driver's license is often required due to travel demands.
  • A business-related degree may be preferred, but extensive experience is often sufficient.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹400,000.00 - ₹1,000,000.00 per year
