Company Description The Good Doll offers sustainable alternatives to Barbie and other plastics in the toy industry. These dolls are body positive, colour inclusive and come with a higher degree of pretend play. They are produced by women from rural & indigenous communities of The Nilgiris mountains using upcycled pre-consumer textile waste. These dolls are good for the child, good for the maker and good for the planet. The Good Doll (TGD) is part of an enabling ecosystem anchored by Indian Yards Foundation (IYF) in the Nilgiris mountains. www.thegooddoll.in and www.indianyards.org Job Title : Sales Intern Job Location : Ooty This is a full-time onsite role for Sales at The Good Doll. The role is based in Ooty. This role will be responsible for overseeing daily sales activities and developing sales strategies to drive revenue growth for the company. Key Responsibilities: Represent the company effectively with comprehensive knowledge of our offerings. To increase scale and depth of distribution in the existing markets. Identifying and developing new markets. To manage and drive sales through distribution in order to attain market leadership in the given territory, through growth in gross numbers and revenues. Deliver sales targets for all products by executing the distribution strategy at the channel partner level. Stock management and reconciliation with retail partners to ensure optional inventory. Execute promotional activities for channel partners to drive sales and build market credibility. Achievement of retail outlets in terms of activating and recharge expansion targets. Aggressive execution of Sales programs (i.e. new schemes / promotions / trade engagement etc.) to deliver targeted numbers of customers and revenue. Channel Management (Distributor / FOS / Dealer ) to improve productivity and sales capabilities. Timely Collection of the market information such as competitor activities & initiatives and analyze the same to pre-empt its impact on the business. Key Requirements: Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. Ability to build, lead and motivate teams. An entrepreneurial mindset is preferred. Flexibility to travel.
