Role & responsibilities KEY RESPONSBILITIES : Strategic Provide Strategic inputs to the Sales Head on modelling and delivering the 3 year rolling Sales Plan and Business Targets by analyzing market trends, competitor activities, growth opportunities and customer feedback Participate and drive the 3 year rolling Sales Plan with clearly defined targets. Ensure Customer Development and Retention ( Architects / Interior Designers / PMC / MEP / Electrical Consultants / Developers, Project Dealers and Lighting Consultants ) Create Database (through pictures / videos / writeups) for super premium projects Create Database for Architects / Interior Designers / PMC / MEP / Electrical Consultants / Developers, Project Dealers and Lighting Consultants and Electricians Operational Ensure Timely and accurate responding to leads / enquiries (from all sources) by the Project Sales Team Review Project Sales pipeline and quotations shared to derive sales forecasts on monthly basis. Define and monitor Sales Targets of the Project Sales team and proactive steps to ensure achievement of the same. Execute Project Sales operations including pricing, contract negotiations and order processing Handle escalations from the Project Sales Coordinator to ensure timely fulfilment of Sales Order Coordinate with other departments, such as Marketing, Supply chain and Accounts to ensure seamless operations. Proactive drive sales of slow and Non Moving inventory and timely liquidation to ensure minimum working capital blockage Control and manage selling and distribution overheads Liaise with Marketing Team for effective value creation from Marketing spends For Exhibitions / Events, collate the database based on participants, follow up on the prospective leads and analyse the conversion rates for effective value creation out of Marketing spends Ensure average collection cycle of 30-45 days from Sales date (for Credit Sales) Assess Customer Credit worthiness based on discussion with management Deliver regular Sales Training and Product Training (Own Staff) Ensure brand representation through professional attire and Conduct while dealing with AIDC - Architects, Interior Designers and Consultants Oversee the execution of projects in coordination with the Project Sales team and review the utilization of electricians / technicians Customer Relationship Management : Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction. Resolve customer issues and concerns in a timely and effective manner. Industry Expertise: Stay abreast of the latest industry trends and technological advancements in lighting. Collaborate with the product development team to ensure our lighting solutions meet market demands and client expectations. QUALIFICATION MBA in Sales and Marketing Masters degree in Engineering (preferred) Certification in MS Office and AI tools Proficiency in operating Automated Tools / Softwares EXPERIENCE 8+ years of experience in Sales with at least 3+ years of experience in Architectural / Building Material Industry SKILLS Strong Go Getter and result oriented Ability to analyze market data and develop strategic business plans. Conflict Management and problem-solving ability Strong analytical and decision-making skills. Strong leadership skills with experience managing and developing a sales team. Excellent communication (verbal and written), negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. High emotional intelligence, discretion, and a commitment to confidentiality.
