Business Head Vruum Cab (Encodency Pvt. Ltd.) Location: Delhi-NCR Experience: 10-18 years (Preferred in ride-hailing, mobility, transportation, or startup ecosystem) Salary: Competitive + Performance-based incentives About Vruum Cab: Vruum Cab, powered by Encodency Pvt. Ltd., is Indias next-gen ride-hailing platform that prioritizes safety, affordability, and community-driven transportation. With successful operations in Jaipur, Ahmedabad, Indore, and Visakhapatnam, we are now gearing up for a massive expansion into Delhi NCR and require an experienced Business Head to lead strategy, growth, and operations. Role Overview: As Business Head, you will be responsible for the entire P&L, revenue growth, market expansion, and strategic partnerships. You will work closely with the CEO, investors, and leadership team to ensure Vrumms dominance in the ride-hailing market while overseeing operations, sales, marketing, and driver acquisition strategies. The ideal candidate should have prior experience in scaling businesses in ride-hailing (Ola, Uber, Rapido), mobility, logistics, or fast-scaling tech startups. Key Responsibilities: 1. Business Growth & Market Expansion Develop and execute a high-impact growth strategy for Vrumms expansion in Delhi NCR & other metro cities. Oversee P&L management, revenue forecasting, and cost optimization. Identify and execute strategic partnerships to enhance business scalability. 2. Driver Acquisition & Engagement Develop innovative on-ground and digital campaigns to onboard drivers. Design driver incentive programs to boost engagement and retention. Establish strong relationships with driver unions, communities, and regulatory bodies. 3. Rider Acquisition & Customer Experience Implement data-driven customer acquisition strategies (marketing + referral programs). Ensure high customer satisfaction and retention rates through seamless service delivery. Build and lead customer loyalty programs for repeat users. 4. Operations & Service Excellence Set up efficient operational frameworks to ensure smooth daily ride operations. Optimize ride pricing, demand-supply balancing, and fleet utilization. Implement cutting-edge AI & automation tools for fleet and driver management. 5. Strategic Partnerships & Alliances Collaborate with corporates, hotels, airports, and local businesses for bulk ride deals. Form strategic alliances with government agencies & urban mobility programs. Partner with women empowerment organizations to strengthen women-driver initiatives. 6. Competition & Market Analysis Conduct deep competitor analysis (Ola, Uber, In Drive, Rapido, etc.). Stay ahead of market trends and regulatory updates to maintain competitive positioning. Leverage insights from customer behaviour data to drive business decisions. Ideal Candidate Profile: Experience: 10-18 years in Business Leadership, P&L Management, or Growth Strategy. Industry Knowledge: Strong experience in ride-hailing, mobility, logistics, or tech-driven consumer businesses. Revenue Growth Expert: Proven track record of scaling a business from startup to enterprise level. P&L & Financial Acumen: Deep understanding of financial management, revenue generation, and cost control. Operations & Supply Chain Mastery: Experience in handling fleet, driver networks, and marketplace operations. Leadership & People Management: Ability to lead, mentor, and manage cross-functional teams. Networking & Partnerships: Strong industry connections in mobility, transportation, and regulatory bodies. Digital & Tech-Savvy: Familiarity with app-based ride-hailing technology, automation, and AI-driven insights.
