Responsibilities: Team Leadership & Development: Recruit, onboard, train, mentor, and coach a high-performing team of Sales Executives. Set clear individual and team sales targets and KPIs, providing regular performance feedback and conducting performance reviews. Identify individual and team training needs and implement development plans to enhance selling skills and product knowledge. Foster a positive, competitive, and results-oriented sales culture within the team. Sales Strategy & Execution: Develop and implement effective sales strategies and action plans for the assigned territory to maximize market reach and revenue. Drive aggressive market penetration initiatives, identifying new business opportunities and expanding the customer base. Oversee the entire sales process from lead generation, prospecting, presentation, negotiation, to deal closure, ensuring adherence to company sales policies and procedures. Conduct regular field visits with team members to observe sales interactions, provide real-time coaching, and support complex deals. Target Achievement & Performance Management: Take overall responsibility for achieving the sales targets (revenue, volume, market share) and key performance indicators (KPIs) for the assigned Latur territory. Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly sales performance against targets, analyze variances, and implement immediate corrective actions as needed. Ensure accurate and timely reporting of sales activities, pipeline status, and forecasts by the sales team using CRM systems. Market Analysis & Intelligence: Conduct in-depth market analysis, including mapping target customer segments, understanding competitor activities, pricing strategies, and emerging market trends specific to Latur and surrounding areas. Provide valuable market insights, competitive intelligence, and customer feedback to senior management to inform product development, marketing, and sales strategies. Key Account Management & Relationship Building: Oversee and ensure strong relationships are built and maintained with key clients and strategic accounts within the territory. Handle escalated client issues and complex sales situations, providing effective solutions and ensuring customer satisfaction. May personally manage key accounts or lead negotiations for large strategic deals. Operational Efficiency & Compliance: Optimize sales processes and workflows to enhance team productivity and efficiency. Manage the sales budget, control expenses, and ensure optimal utilization of resources. Ensure the sales team's strict adherence to company policies, ethical sales practices, and all relevant regulatory requirements. Communication: Communicate clearly, persuasively, and effectively with team members, senior management, channel partners, and clients. Fluency in Marathi and Hindi is crucial for engaging with the local market, understanding regional nuances, and leading a local team effectively. Excellent English proficiency is essential for formal reporting, strategic discussions with senior management, and broader professional communication.
