Solar EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) Sales Job Description Position: Solar EPC Sales Representative Department: Sales & Business Development Reports to: Sales Manager/Director Summary: The Solar EPC Sales Representative is responsible for driving sales of solar energy solutions, focusing on end-to-end project execution from design and engineering to procurement and installation. This role involves identifying potential clients, understanding their energy needs, proposing tailored solutions, and managing relationships to close sales agreements. Key Responsibilities: 1. Business Development: o Identify and target potential clients, including commercial, industrial, and residential sectors. o Conduct market research to identify trends and new opportunities. o Build and maintain a pipeline of prospects through networking, referrals, and outreach activities. 2. Client Engagement: o Meet with potential clients to understand their energy needs, budget, and technical requirements. o Present and explain solar EPC solutions, including technical, financial, and environmental benefits. o Develop and deliver compelling proposals, presentations, and quotations. 3. Sales Process Management: o Negotiate terms, finalize contracts, and secure deals while maintaining profitability. o Collaborate with internal teams (engineering, procurement, and construction) to ensure accurate project scoping and feasibility. o Track sales progress and report on key performance metrics. 4. Relationship Management: o Maintain strong relationships with existing clients to encourage repeat business and referrals. o Act as a primary point of contact, addressing client concerns and ensuring satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle. 5. Market Knowledge & Compliance: o Stay updated on solar industry trends, regulations, and emerging technologies. o Ensure compliance with local and national energy standards and policies. Qualifications and Skills: • Education: o Bachelor’s degree in engineering, renewable energy, business, or a related field. o Certification in solar energy systems or sales will be a added benifit. • Experience: o Proven track record in sales, preferably in solar, energy, or EPC projects. o Experience with solar energy design, engineering, or construction processes is a plus. • Technical Skills: o Familiarity with solar energy systems, including PV modules, inverters, and battery storage. o Proficiency in CRM software, Zoho and sales tools. • Soft Skills: o Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. o Ability to build rapport and trust with clients and stakeholders. o Self-motivated and goal-oriented. Work Environment: • Hybrid role with field visits to client sites. • Some travel required for client meetings, site assessments, industry events, needs to come down to Rajkot (HO) few days in a month for meeting team & Management.
