Job Description

Qualifications: Graduate in Engineering or Science. Postgraduate Diploma/Degree in Marketing preferred Experience : o Graduate in Engineering or Science. Postgraduate Diploma/Degree in Marketing preferred. o 5 to 8 years of Sales experience selling to auto component, optics, electronic or research institutes. o Exposure to Physical Vapour Deposition techniques preferred. o Experience in Distribution Company and exposure to selling raw materials to the Glass / Metal Industry would be of great advantage. o Understands Concept Selling and can articulate Features/Benefits/ Attributes to win customers is essential. o Fluent in business English Responsibilities: o Meet budget objectives by managing Customer-Product mix and Margins o Growth strategy: Implement sales & marketing strategy and deliver sales & margin budget and growth o Ensure timely collection of Receivables and business documents o Build strong business relationships with customers o Communicate effectively with all stakeholders in a timely and professional manner o Continuously capture market intelligence & monitor the new customer trends/activities. o Generate daily reports/ Market visit reports and daily briefing of activities o Delivering on promise made to customers and other stakeholders o Inventory Management. Key Competencies (Functional & Behavioural): o Passion for Sales and to Serve Customers in an Agile manner, with excellent Prospecting Skills. o Listening and positive thinking, key for growing any business. o Excellent communication skills o Negotiation skills to help understand customer requirement and Market dynamics o Strong business acumen: strong knowledge and application of business parameters o Entrepreneurial Mindset. Constantly willing to look for new product lines and principals for growth. o Relationship Management: manage interfaces, manage conflict, influence others and take a clear self-positioning o Integrity and trustworthiness in behaviour: Clear communication, reliable execution, honest self-positioning, open encounter with others o Drive for Results: Take the right priorities, readiness to decide and ability to implement o Agile to market dynamics, changing Customer and Principal needs o Basic computer knowledge, with creativity and presentation skills
