Position: Area Sales Executive – Channel Sales, Building Materials Overview: We're seeking a dynamic Sales and Business Development professional to expand product distribution. The ideal candidate is a customer-focused Sales Specialist with building materials industry experience. As an Area Sales Executive at BVG, you'll provide expert guidance to customers, drive sales, and deliver exceptional customer service through in-depth product knowledge and industry expertise. Responsibilities: 1. Engage customers, understand their flooring needs, and offer tailored solutions. 2. Provide extensive product knowledge and advice on flooring and wall covering materials. 3. Assist customers in selecting suitable products based on preferences, budget, and functionality. 4. Conduct product demonstrations and highlight features, benefits, and durability. 5. Collaborate with operations and installation teams for seamless installations. 6. Stay updated on industry trends, new products, and technologies. 7. Handle inquiries, resolve concerns, and provide post-sales support for customer satisfaction. 8. Collaborate with the sales team to meet or exceed targets. 9. Maintain organized paperwork, sales records, and customer information. 10. Develop and maintain relationships with dealers, distributors, contractors, and industry professionals. Qualifications: 1. Previous experience in sales, preferably within the building materials industry, with a strong network of dealers and distributors in their region. 2. Knowledge of various flooring types, styles, and brands would be a bonus. 3. Exceptional customer service and communication skills to establish rapport and understand customer needs is a necessity in this role. 4. Strong sales and negotiation abilities, with a track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets. 5. Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills. 6. Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team. 7. Being tech savvy would a definite bonus.
