Position: Sales Engineer – Control Panel Components

Location: Ahmedabad, Gujarat

Job Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and technically skilled Sales Engineer specializing in automation and control panel components to drive sales growth and expand our market presence in Ahmedabad and surrounding regions. The ideal candidate will work closely with clients to understand their technical requirements, provide expert product support, and deliver customized solutions that meet their specific needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales and Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities for control panel components in Ahmedabad. Develop and implement strategies to achieve sales targets and expand market share.
  • Client Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with OEMs, system integrators, and distributors. Understand their technical needs and provide effective solutions that meet their specific requirements.
  • Technical Expertise: Provide product demonstrations, technical guidance, and support on selection, application, and installation of automation and control panel components.
  • Proposal and Quotation: Prepare and present technical proposals and quotations to clients. Address technical queries and provide detailed product specifications and benefits.
  • Market Analysis: Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify opportunities and potential risks. Share insights to refine sales strategies and enhance product offerings.
  • Collaborative Efforts: Work closely with the engineering and product teams to share customer insights. Coordinate with marketing teams to support promotional activities and campaigns.
  • Reporting: Maintain detailed records of sales activities, client meetings, and market developments. Prepare regular reports and forecasts for management review.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related field. MBA or relevant sales certification is an added advantage.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in sales engineering with a focus on automation or control panel components. Proven track record of achieving sales targets and building client relationships.
  • Technical Skills: Strong understanding of SMPS, automation products, and control panel components. Ability to troubleshoot and provide technical support for complex systems.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication with the ability to convey technical information clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Sales Acumen: Customer-oriented approach with strong negotiation and closing skills.
  • Location: Based in Ahmedabad with willingness to travel within Gujarat as required.
