Reports to: Sales Manager Category: FTE Location: Chennai Department: Asia Sales Team Financial Dimensions: Achieving the set budget of US$ 2,000,000 JOB PURPOSE Develop, maintain, and expand client base for the India EPC market. Contact, liaise, and follow-up with the client starting from vendor registration up to order securement under the guidelines of the Sales Manager and maintain a good working relationship with the clients while representing the image of the company. Periodic visits: Develop new opportunities with existing and new clients Continuous contact with clients to develop and maintain working relationship Weekly follow up: Be aware of new developments in the market and about competitors' activities and report the same to the sales manager Understand the client needs and be able to provide value proposition commercially (and technically if a sales engineer) Liaise with the Proposals Department to ensure that all Quotations are submitted on time in accordance with the company policies After-sales follow up with the Projects Department to ensure a proper and successful project execution Periodic visits: After-sales visits to clients to ensure that all requirements related to the project are met to their satisfaction Monthly update report: Review the sales results with the sales manager on a monthly basis and report action taken to rectify any adverse variances Weekly visit report: Obtain project information and issue weekly sales visit report to the sales manager in order to update and discuss future course of action SPAN OF Communication Internal: Sales Manager Proposal Team Projects Team Technical Team Engineering Team Planning Team Finance Team External: Clients Job relevant information (BOUNDARIES & DECISION MAKING AUTHORITY) The jobholder should have EPC industry knowledge, product knowledge, and sales and negotiation experience. Responsible to protect, secure, and maintain the company's image and objectives and its position in the market. Capable of maintaining long-term client relationship and be able to communicate and further develop the relationship with key accounts. Secure orders in line with the authority matrix given to him/her. Prioritize and advise the proposal team on priority of action. Required Qualifications: Female Candidate preferred. Bachelors degree or above (Engineering degree for sales engineer) Native fluency in Hindi, Marathi & English for business communication High fluency in English for business communication with FPI global offices and factories 2 to 6 years of sales experience Preferred Experience: Experience working in the EPC business in one or more of the following sectors (Power Plant, Desalination, Petrochemical, Oil & Gas Processing, Industrial Plant, Oil & Gas, Sewer, Irrigation, Water Distribution, Marine & Offshore) Manufacturing industry experience Hands-on experience in review/comment of contract terms and conditions Job Specific Skills Proactive sales attitude Presentation Skills Reporting skills Able to work independently and under pressure Good communicator with negotiation skills Able to travel overseas or domestically for short to long term basis Emphatic listener (with an intention to understand others point of view) Software skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) Core Competencies : Team Player Good Communication skills Being honest and have integrity Having drive to win Adaptability & time management
