Ingenium Automation India Pvt. Ltd. is a leading Automation and Control Systems Integrator and a certified Schneider Electric EcoXpert Partner, specializing in Building Management Systems (BMS), Industrial Automation, and ELV (Extra-Low Voltage) Solutions.

We deliver end-to-end design, integration, and execution of automation projects for commercial, industrial, and infrastructure sectors using advanced platforms such as Schneider EcoStruxure, Siemens Desigo, Honeywell EBI / WEBs N4 / ComfortPoint Open,and Allen-Bradley control systems.

With a strong engineering team and an execution-driven approach, Ingenium provides innovative, reliable, and energy-efficient solutions that enhance operational performance and sustainability.

We are expanding our team and currently seeking experienced Sales Engineers with strong exposure to Automation, BMS, and ELV project sales.

Role Summary

The Sales Engineer will be responsible for end-to-end sales development—from opportunity identification and client engagement to proposal preparation, negotiation, and order closure—across BMS, Industrial Automation, and ELV domains.

This role requires solid technical understanding of Schneider, Siemens, Honey well and Allen-Bradley ecosystems, along with the ability to translate technical requirements into tailored commercial proposals.


Key Responsibilities – Sales Engineer

  • Identify, pursue, and develop new business opportunities across BMS, Industrial Automation, and ELV domains (PAN India)
  • Engage with consultants, contractors, facility management teams, and end clients to understand project requirements and propose suitable solutions.
  • Conduct site surveys, requirement analysis, and technical evaluations to prepare accurate solution offerings.
  • Develop and present technical proposals, system architectures, BOQs, compliance statements, and cost estimations aligned with Schneider, Siemens, and Allen-Bradley automation platforms.
  • Prepare and manage tender submissions, ensuring full compliance with project specifications, drawings, and scope documents.
  • Deliver technical presentations, demonstrations, and solution briefings to support client decision-making.
  • Manage the entire sales cycle, including lead generation, proposal submission, follow-up, negotiation, and order finalization.
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships to ensure long-term engagement and repeat business.
  • Coordinate with design, engineering, procurement, and project teams to ensure accurate handover and seamless project initiation after order confirmation.
  • Track and maintain CRM entries, sales pipelines, forecasts, and opportunity status for internal reporting.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor offerings, and pricing strategies to strengthen the company's positioning.
  • Participate in industry events, exhibitions, and product launches to promote company solutions and capabilities.
  • Ensure all submitted proposals and offered solutions comply with OEM guidelines, safety standards, and internal quality processes.
  • Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets while maintaining high levels of professionalism and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications & Experience

·       Education: B.E. in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, or Mechatronics.

·       Experience: 5–7 years of proven SaIes experience in Building Management Systems (BMS), Industrial Automation, and ELV (Extra-Low Voltage) Solutions.

·       Technical Expertise:

. Strong exposure to Schneider EcoStruxure (EBO/PME), Siemens Desigo/SIMATIC, and Allen-Bradley systems.

. Good understanding of DDC, PLC, SCADA, HMI and integrated control solutions.

. Knowledge of HVAC automation, lighting controls, and energy management systems.

·      Familiarity with ELV systems: Fire Alarm, CCTV, Access Control, PA Systems

·      Software Proficiency: AutoCAD, MS Project, and other automation configuration tools.

·      Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer relationship skills.

·      Strong understanding of project workflows, engineering deliverables, and timelines.

·       Ability to manage multiple simultaneous opportunities under tight schedules.

·      Immediate joiners preferred. Preferred candidates from Chennai, Bangalore, and Hyderabad.

·      Willingness to travel extensively across India.
