Job Description

As a member of the team, you will collaborate with various cross-functional teams such as Sales, Engineering, Architecture, Services, Legal, and Operations. Your primary responsibility will involve closely working with a small team of bid managers to support the delivery of bid/RFP documentation. You will play a key role in supporting the APJ Service provider business, overseeing a revenue scope of $2B. Your focus will be on ensuring excellence in the deal governance process for Cisco's largest, most complex, and strategic bids in the APJ region. Your initiatives will drive alignment across functions, implement best practices, and aim for consistency in management practices to accelerate Cisco's growth and enhance its win rate in APJ. Your main impact will be in owning and driving the deal governance and review process for critical and complex opportunities within the APJ Service provider business. By coordinating with various stakeholders, you will ensure the timely completion of bid elements, maintain a consistent deal review process, and avoid last-minute surprises. Your role will involve providing early visibility for executive guidance, aligning strategically, and engaging in governance activities to support deal engagements effectively. To qualify for this role, you should have at least 5 years of experience in bid management and possess financial acumen with techno-commercial expertise. You must demonstrate the ability to develop and present data-driven business proposals, collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, and showcase excellent program and project management skills. Additionally, you should be action-oriented, self-driven, results-focused, and capable of interacting with regional and global teams. Desirable qualifications for this position include having Asia-Pacific regional experience.
