Job Description

Role Overview: You are a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager or Business Development Executive with a strong background in engineering services sales. Your primary responsibility will be to drive growth and generate new business opportunities in North America and Australasia by selling specialized engineering services to clients in the AEC ecosystem. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and execute go-to-market strategies to expand the company's presence in North America and Australasia. - Identify, target, and engage prospective clients through various methods such as market research, outbound outreach, referrals, and industry events. - Understand client needs and offer tailored solutions involving engineering design and detailing services. - Prepare and deliver presentations, proposals, and RFP responses to clients in different regions. - Manage the entire sales cycle from lead generation to contract negotiation and closing. - Build and maintain long-term relationships with stakeholders in the AEC ecosystem. - Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate project scoping and seamless project delivery. - Stay informed on local and international construction regulations, BIM mandates, and digital engineering trends. - Manage and update CRM system with accurate sales data and activity reports, meeting KPIs. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, or related field with an MBA in Marketing preferred. - Business Development Manager: 5+ years of experience in selling engineering services. - Business Development Executive: 2+ years of experience in selling engineering services. Additional Details: The company prefers candidates with a strong network in target regions, knowledge of international construction standards, ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders, excellent communication skills, self-motivation, and willingness to travel occasionally for client meetings and events. Preferred Skills: - Deep understanding of the steel fabrication and construction management process. - Ability to leverage industry relationships and articulate the company's value proposition. - Strong grasp of detailing, BIM, and structural design. - Experience in targeted outreach and building relationships with key decision-makers. - Ability to build and manage a sales pipeline and attract high-value clients.
