Marketing, Marketing Communications & Business Development Internship – Roles and Responsibilities (Climate Action)

The Marketing, Marketing Communications, and Business Development Internship offers an opportunity to work at the intersection of sustainability, strategy, client engagement, and communication. Interns will play an active role in strengthening the brand voice of Deepwoods and supporting the expansion of sustainability programs.

Marketing & Communication Responsibilities

• Developing marketing strategies and communication materials for sustainability projects and certification programs.
• Assisting in social media campaigns, website content creation, and digital marketing initiatives promoting climate-positive action.
• Creating impactful narratives, presentations, and visuals to communicate project outcomes and client success stories.
• Supporting market research, competitor benchmarking, and campaign analysis to guide brand positioning.
• Collaborating with design and consulting teams to translate technical sustainability data into engaging public communication.

Business Development Responsibilities

• Prospecting potential clients, especially MSMEs and production-based companies.
• Understanding client needs and aligning Deepwoods’ sustainability solutions to address them.
• Supporting outreach activities to strengthen collaboration and program participation across businesses.
• Assisting in preparing solution briefs, introductory decks, and meeting notes for client-facing interactions.
• Maintaining a basic pipeline tracker to support structured business development efforts.

This internship offers a unique platform for candidates to apply their marketing and communication skills to a purpose-driven domain, gaining hands-on experience in sustainability branding, green marketing, and corporate communication.

Eligibility: Final Year Students - MBA Marketing

Stipend: Rs 10,000 - Rs 15,000 per month + Variable

Period: Min of 3 months
