Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Executive with proven experience in the FMCG sector to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales, managing key accounts, expanding our customer base, and achieving monthly and quarterly sales targets in their assigned territory. JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES 1. Achieve the annual sales target. Develop and implement sales action plan and schedules. Participate in all sales events. 2. Submit weekly sales report on sales activity for the past week together with the focus for the new week. 3. Develop and maintain a customer database. Develop a sales visitation schedule for existing and potential customers. Build strong working relationships with existing customers. Gain their respect by dealing with them fairly, honestly and ethically and create an environment of reliability and honouring commitments. 4. Monitor and report on competitor activities and market conditions by way of market research and surveys. 5. Ensure stock requirements are forecasted and ordered, working within a time frame to eliminate Out of Stocks, taking into consideration weekly/monthly requirements, shipping schedules, suppliers requirements and promotional activity. Attention to detail and accuracy is vital so as not to overstock. 6. Comply with all relevant company policies and procedures to protect the interest of the company and individuals. Ensure all staff comply with all safety policies, procedures and instructions to protect against accidents and lost productivity. 7. Communicate fully with superiors, subordinates and others who have a need to know. Communicate in a way that is appropriately prompt, complete and concise, being both candid and accurate. Be positive, clear and responsive. JOB NATURE AND SCOPE The position operates in a multi-cultural environment and the Sales Executive must be well conversed with all facets of the trade, have extensive sales experience and have a strong understanding of marketing principles. All trade dealings must be conducted whilst protecting the interests of the Company. EXPERIENCE Typically the incumbent should have three years sales and marketing experience with a proven track history that reflects high levels of: achievement, leadership, self motivation, cultural sensitivity and communication skills.
