We seek a proactive Sales and Logistics Executive to manage end-to-end sales and logistics operations at Rorosaur Foodtech Private Limited. As the right-hand person to the founder, you will be instrumental in ensuring smooth operations, timely delivery, and excellent customer service. This involves managing the sales-to-order cycle, coordinating with suppliers, tracking inventory, and engaging with customers across various channels. Your role will also encompass refining courier allocation rules, conducting invoice reconciliations, and generating insightful MIS reports to drive data-driven decisions. You'll play a pivotal role in representing Rorosaur at exhibitions and events, maximizing visibility and sales, while also fostering strong vendor relationships and optimizing procurement costs. This position requires a blend of analytical prowess, operational acumen, and exceptional communication skills to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment. Must have a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field, coupled with 1-2 years of experience in sales support and logistics within a D2C/e-commerce setting. Technical requirements include proficiency in Zoho, ERP systems, and MS Office Suite. Essential skills include strong problem-solving abilities and excellent communication skills. Roles & Responsibilities:

Sales & Order Management

1. Handle the complete sales-to-order cycle, ensuring timely and accurate order processing.

2. Create and manage sales orders and purchase orders on platforms like Zoho, ERP systems, or similar.

3. Engage with walk-in, online, and corporate customers, convert enquiries into sales, and provide exceptional service.

4. Coordinate with the baking/production team to ensure accurate order flow, preparation, and dispatch.

5. Liaise with corporate clients for bulk or festive orders and ensure high-quality client servicing.

6. Represent Rorosaur at exhibitions, pop-ups, and events, maximizing visibility and sales.


Logistics & Delivery Management

1. Refine courier allocation rules based on serviceability, cost, and performance.

2. Track and analyze key logistics KPIs (delivery percentage, TAT adherence, RTO%, cost per shipment).

3. Negotiate rates, onboard new logistics partners, and maintain cost-effective courier contracts.

4. Coordinate with delivery partners (e.g., Porter, Uber, or third-party couriers) to ensure timely fulfilment.

5. Monitor pending pickups, delivery exceptions, and escalations on a daily basis.

6. Manage end-to-end logistics operations for D2C shipments from pickup to delivery.


Supplier & Inventory Management

1. Implement inventory control measures to minimize waste and spoilage.

2. Monitor supplier performance and address any issues or discrepancies promptly.

3. Ensure timely closure of billing disputes by conducting monthly invoice reconciliations.

4. Identify opportunities to optimize procurement costs and improve process efficiency.

5. Maintain accurate stock levels, track inventory, and coordinate replenishments.

6. Collaborate with a large number of suppliers to ensure smooth order fulfilment and strong vendor relationships.


Reporting & MIS

1. Maintain accurate records of all sales and logistics transactions.

2. Identify trends and patterns in sales and logistics data to optimize strategies.

3. Prepare presentations and reports summarizing key performance indicators (KPIs) for management review.

4. Analyze data to support operational improvements and data-driven decisions.

5. Provide timely updates on orders, issues, and operational insights directly to the founder.

6. Generate daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports for sales, orders, inventory, and logistics performance.


Customer Engagement & Support

1. Ensure compliance with all relevant customer service standards and policies.

2. Implement customer retention strategies to build long-term relationships.

3. Maintain a customer database and track customer interactions.

4. Proactively communicate with customers regarding order status and delivery updates.

5. Gather customer feedback and suggestions to improve the overall customer experience.

  • 6. Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues related to orders or deliveries promptly and professionally.
