Job Description Safety Officer (Building Construction Projects) Location: Thane / Kalyan / Navi Mumbai / Mumbai Experience: 2 to 5 Years Industry: Building Construction About the Role: We are seeking a Safety Officer with 2 to 5 years of experience in building construction projects to ensure workplace safety, compliance, and risk management across our sites. The ideal candidate will be responsible for enforcing safety regulations, conducting site inspections, and fostering a culture of safety among workers. Key Responsibilities: Implement and monitor health, safety, and environmental (HSE) policies at construction sites Conduct risk assessments and safety audits to identify hazards and recommend corrective actions Ensure compliance with safety standards as per government regulations and company policies Organize safety training programs and toolbox talks for site workers Investigate and report accidents, near-misses, and unsafe conditions Coordinate with project managers and site engineers to maintain safe working conditions Maintain safety documentation, reports, and incident records Ensure the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and adherence to safety protocols Requirements: Diploma/Degree in Civil Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety, or related field Certification in Safety Management (NEBOSH, IOSH, OSHA, or equivalent) is preferred 2 to 5 years of experience in safety management in building construction projects Strong knowledge of construction safety regulations and standards Ability to conduct safety inspections, audits, and investigations Good communication and leadership skills to enforce safety culture on-siteRole & responsibilities Perks and benefits CTC 2 to 3.25 LPA
