1. Primary Responsibilities: Develop, implement, and maintain effective safety policies, procedures, and protocols in accordance with industry standards and regulations. Lead the creation and execution of safety programs that encompass occupational health, hazard identification, emergency response, and incident investigation. Conduct regular risk assessments and workplace inspections to identify potential hazards and unsafe conditions. Collaborate with relevant departments to mitigate risks and implement corrective actions to prevent accidents and injuries. Organize and deliver safety training programs for employees, contractors, and visitors to ensure awareness and adherence to safety protocols. Develop training materials, presentations, and resources to promote safety awareness and compliance. Lead and oversee the investigation of safety incidents, accidents, and near misses. Prepare incident reports, analyze root causes, and recommend corrective actions to prevent recurrence. Stay informed about relevant health and safety regulations, standards, and best practices applicable to the medical devices industry. Ensure the organization's compliance with local, state, and federal safety regulations. Develop and maintain emergency responsen plans, evacuation procedures, and crisis management protocols. Coordinate drills and exercises to assess the effectiveness of emergency plans. Foster a culture of safety by actively engaging employees and management in safety initiatives and promoting a proactive approach to identifying and addressing safety concerns. Collect, analyze, and report safety-related data and metrics to identify trends, measure performance, and drive continuous improvement. Collaborate with procurement and project teams to ensure the safety of vendors and contractors working on-site. 2. Knowledge and Skill Requirements: In-depth knowledge of safety regulations, standards, and practices. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Analytical mindset with the ability to identify and address safety risks. Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. High level of integrity and commitment to maintaining a safe work environment. 3. Qualifications / Experience: Diploma in Industrial Safety recognized by DGFASLI (Directorate General Factory Advice Service and Labour Institutes) At least 3-5 years experience in Industrial Safety. preferably manufacturing industries.
