Roles and Responsibilities Conduct safety audits, inspections, and surveys to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions. Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of safety regulations, standards, and best practices in the chemical industry. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop emergency response plans and conduct regular drills to ensure preparedness. Implement time management strategies to prioritize tasks effectively during high-pressure situations. Provide leadership skills by supervising junior team members, delegating tasks efficiently, and ensuring timely completion of projects. Desired Candidate Profile 5-10 years of experience as a Safety Officer or similar role in the chemical engineering field. Diploma or B.Sc degree from a recognized institution (any specialization). Strong knowledge of OHSAS 18001 standards, safety regulations, hazard identification, risk assessment, material handling procedures. Excellent problem-solving skills with ability to work independently under pressure.
