Safety Officer

Role Overview: As a Safety Equipment Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the proper maintenance, functionality, and accessibility of all safety equipment, including fire extinguishers, first aid kits, and personal protective equipment (PPE). You will conduct regular risk assessments and hazard identification to identify potential workplace hazards and recommend preventive measures. Organizing safety training sessions for employees, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and developing emergency response plans will also be part of your role. Key Responsibilities: - Ensure all safety equipment is properly maintained, functional, and accessible to workers. - Conduct regular risk assessments and hazard identification in the workplace. - Organize and conduct safety training sessions for employees. - Ensure compliance with national and international safety regulations. - Investigate accidents and incidents, develop reports, and suggest corrective actions. - Develop and update emergency response plans for various scenarios. - Monitor safety compliance on the production floor and promote a safety-conscious culture. - Maintain safety records and prepare regular safety reports for management. - Ensure proper handling and disposal of hazardous materials. - Collaborate with other departments to align safety goals with company objectives. - Promote employee health and identify ergonomics issues. - Implement and promote a safety management system for continuous improvement.
