Safety Manager

Key Responsibilities:

⁠ ⁠Implement and monitor HSE policies specific to precast manufacturing and erection

⁠ ⁠Conduct risk assessments and enforce safety during lifting, rigging, and erection of precast elements

⁠ ⁠Ensure safety compliance in precast yard operations (moulding, demoulding, curing, stacking)

⁠ ⁠Monitor crane and lifting equipment safety, conduct pre-lift checks and toolbox talks

⁠ ⁠Conduct site safety audits, inspections, and regular safety drills

⁠ ⁠Lead incident investigations and ensure corrective actions are implemented

⁠ ⁠Train workers and staff on PPE usage, emergency procedures, and safe work methods

⁠ ⁠Maintain documentation for audits – safety reports, permits, inspection records

⁠ ⁠Liaise with clients, consultants, and government bodies on EHS matters

⁠ ⁠Ensure compliance with local labour laws, ISO, and OHSAS standards

Qualifications & Skills:

⁠ ⁠B.E./Diploma in Engineering with Diploma in Industrial Safety (Recognised)

⁠ ⁠10+ years of relevant experience; minimum 2–3 years in precast construction projects

⁠ ⁠Strong knowledge of lifting plans, PTW systems, fall protection, and heavy equipment safety

⁠ ⁠Familiarity with EHS legal norms, ISO 45001, and site documentation

⁠ ⁠Good communication, leadership, and incident response skills

⁠ ⁠Certification in First Aid, Fire Safety, or NEBOSH (preferred)

Working in bridge construction & Metro construction is preferred.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹75,000.00 - ₹100,000.00 per month
