Akhand Construction is looking for Safety Engineer to join our dynamic team and embark on a rewarding career journey Conduct thorough risk assessments and safety audits to identify potential hazards in the workplace Develop and implement safety policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess and mitigate risks associated with new processes, equipment, or facility modifications Provide safety expertise and guidance to project teams during the design and implementation of new projects or processes Develop and deliver safety training programs to educate employees on safety protocols, emergency response procedures, and best practices Investigate incidents and accidents, analyze root causes, and develop corrective action plans to prevent reoccurrence Maintain accurate safety records, including incident reports, inspection findings, and safety-related documentation Stay updated with industry trends, emerging safety technologies, and regulatory changes, ensuring compliance with the latest standards Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to ensure ongoing compliance and identify areas for improvement Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to evaluate and select safety equipment and personal protective gear Foster a culture of safety awareness by promoting proactive safety practices and encouraging employee engagement in safety initiatives
