Job Description

Responsibilities : Develop, maintain and enhance web applications using Ruby on Rails. Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices. Design and implement robust APIs and web services. Optimize application performance and troubleshoot issues. Work with databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL, ensuring data integrity and performance. Collaborate with front-end developers, designers, and other stakeholders to create seamless user experiences. Implement security and data protection measures. Participate in Agile/Scrum development processes, including sprint planning and code reviews. Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends. Requirements : 3 - 5 years of experience working with Ruby on Rails. Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and design patterns. Experience with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and React or Vue.js. Proficiency in SQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL). Experience with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture. Knowledge of background job processing frameworks like Sidekiq or Resque. Familiarity with version control tools like Git/GitHub. Understanding of testing frameworks such as RSpec or Minitest. Experience working with cloud platforms (AWS, Heroku, etc.) is a plus. Strong problem-solving and debugging skills. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities Preferred Skills : Experience with Docker and Kubernetes. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices. Knowledge of GraphQL and WebSockets. Understanding of caching strategies (Redis, Memcached).
