Key Responsibilities Resolve technical issues related to discipline and coordination with third parties for its resolution (Customer, Supplier's, Site, Inter Disciplines). Support inspection and testing activities at vendor shops. Selection of Pumps [API / Non-API] along with its driver [motor / turbine], seal system. Selection of Compressors [Centrifugal {Axial / Integrally geared} / Reciprocating {piston / diaphragm / labyrinth}] along with its driver [motor / Turbine], Dry gas seal skid, Lube oil skid, cooling water console, MMS, etc. Selection of FD/ID fans for Heaters / WHB / incinerators Adequacy check and Revamp of pumps / compressors along with its driver [motor / turbine] Selection of Dosing skids Selection of EDG [Emergency Diesel Generator] package for Continuous/PRP load. Selection of Screw pumps / Lobe pumps / seal-less pump / Magnetic drive pump / Maze pumps Work as a team member with other disciplines. Participates in the development and implementation of engineering practices, workflows and procedures; recommends and implements resulting specs and procedures. Study of ITB document in detail and identification / application of project specific salient points. Skills, Knowledge and Expertise Minimum Requirements Bachelor’s Degree (BE/B. Tech., ME/ M. Tech.) 10~15 years of industry experience in Refining or Petrochemicals industry. Skilled in MS Word, Excel and Power Point. Strong oral and written communication skills, including ability to communicate fluently in English. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Strong ability in technical matters with profound knowledge of applicable Engineering principles and processes with an emphasis on safe, compliant, reliable, efficient and practical solutions required for the engineering design and execution of proposals and projects. Acts as the discipline lead engineer for various proposals and projects and is responsible to deliver the work within contractual framework, quality, and schedule and overall cost effectiveness, in order to meet the overall project desired results. Willingness to travel domestically or internationally for deputation as per job requirements. Preferably having experience in EPC or Detail design engineering company in the rotating engineering discipline for execution of projects in various sectors like Oil & Gas, Energy, Refining, Petrochemicals. Experience in Rotating & Package equipment's like Pumps, Compressors, Turbines, Agitators, Chemical Injection Package, Refrigeration Package- from selection to detailed engineering review. Familiar and conversant in MDS preparation, RFQ preparation, API, Technical Bid Evaluation, Equipment selection and Vendor Print Review. Familiarity with codes and standards related to discipline such as API, ANSI, Major Clients / PMC & Licensor Specifications and Standards. Hands on experience in FEED, EPC & Proposal Jobs.
