Coordinate with suppliers to ensure material availability and compliance with technical specifications. Ensure production meets aerospace and defence quality standards (AS9100, MIL-STD, etc.). 2 Project & Program Management: Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources for propulsion engine production. Track milestones and ensure timely design freeze, prototype builds, and production ramp-up. Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including design, manufacturing, supply chain, and testing. Prepare and present status reports to senior management and stakeholders. 3 Testing & Validation: Oversee engine performance validation through static and dynamic testing. Work with test engineers to define qualification and acceptance criteria. Troubleshoot and resolve production or performance-related issues. 4 Continuous Improvement & Optimization: Identify areas for process improvements, cost reduction, and yield enhancement. Implement lean manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies to optimize production. Drive innovation in propulsion manufacturing techniques and new materials integration. Required Qualifications & Experience Education & Technical Expertise: Bachelor’s/master's degree in mechanical engineering, Propulsion Engineering, or related field. Strong background in solid propulsion systems or missile engines. Experience in coordinating and conducting static rocket motor testing and analysis. Project Management & Production Expertise: 5+ years of experience in missile propulsion or defence engineering. Experience with DFM (Design for Manufacturing), FMEA (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis), and production ramp-up. Familiarity with composite materials, thermal protection systems, and propulsion system assembly. Working knowledge of aerospace regulatory requirements and military standards. Soft Skills & Competencies: Strong project management skills with the ability to lead cross-functional teams. Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities. Effective communication and stakeholder management skills. Ability to work in a high-paced, defence-sector environment with strict compliance protocols. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in defence, missile programs, or aerospace OEMs. Knowledge of advanced propulsion technologies, additive manufacturing, and automation. PMP or Six Sigma certification is a plus. Why Join Us? Work on cutting-edge missile propulsion technologies. Lead the transition of innovative propulsion systems from design to production.
