Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled Django Developer with experience in Robot Operating System (ROS2) and mobile robotics to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in web development, particularly using the Django framework, combined with hands-on experience in developing and integrating software for mobile robots using ROS. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain web applications using Django to support our robotics platforms. Collaborate with the robotics engineering team to integrate web applications with ROS-based robotic systems. Develop RESTful APIs to facilitate communication between web services and robotic hardware. Implement real-time data visualization and control interfaces for mobile robots. Ensure the security, performance, and scalability of web applications. Troubleshoot and resolve software issues related to both web and robotic systems. Participate in code reviews, testing, and documentation processes. Stay updated with the latest developments in Django, ROS2, and mobile robotics technologies. Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Robotics, Engineering, or a related field. Proven experience as a Django Developer with a strong portfolio of web applications. Hands-on experience with ROS (Robot Operating System) and its core components. Experience in developing software for mobile robotics, including navigation, control, and perception. Proficient in Python programming. Familiarity with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, or Vue.js). Knowledge of database management systems (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL). Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with ROS 2. Familiarity with robotic hardware such as sensors, actuators, and embedded systems. Understanding of machine learning and computer vision applications in robotics. Experience with DevOps practices and tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes). Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
