Job Title:

About the Role

Material Scheduler

Key Responsibilities

Review RM requirements and place date-wise purchase orders; follow up with vendors for timely delivery.
Calculate & review safety stock quarterly based on demand, space, tank size, and inventory targets.
Ensure RM/PM availability as per weekly plan with
no compliance losses
.
Daily coordination with production and site planners; align on next 7-day plan.
Review
RSL
and
Vendor OTIF
daily and drive improvements to 90% and 97% respectively.
Perform stock reconciliation and ensure accuracy at the site.
Participate in slow/non-moving stock reviews and align action plans.
Conduct RCA for stockouts and share learnings with the planning team.
Share supplier performance (Vendor OTIF) with vendors.
Quarterly ABC/XYZ (RM/PM segmentation) analysis and SAP updates.
Drive Kaizen projects in collaboration with R&D, Quality, and Site teams.
Coordinate with PFR team for required RM/PM.
Coordinate with vendors and VPC team for invoice, payment, debit/credit notes.
Manage RM imports and documentation with planning and customs teams.
Handle NPR/Emergency purchases for engineering items.

Functional Skills Required

Strong experience in RM planning
SAP knowledge is mandatory
Understanding of plant operations
Excellent MS Excel skills
Strong analytical ability & communication skills
Influencing skills with cross-functional teams

Candidate Profile

Minimum 5 years of experience in FMCG / Paint / Retail or internal customer-facing supply chain roles
Ability to influence, coordinate, and push for results
Strong customer orientation and proactive mindset
Passion for excellence and delivering commitments
