RJ State Lead - Logistics

As a Logistics Operations Manager for a cluster of bioenergy plants, your role involves leading and optimizing logistics operations to ensure the efficient, cost-effective, and timely movement of feedstock and CNG/CBG across the supply chain. Key Responsibilities: - Manage inbound and outbound movements to facilitate smooth logistics operations. - Work towards value maximization, cost optimization, and finalization of freight agreements. - Oversee transportation, warehousing, and inventory flow to maintain operational efficiency. - Appoint vendors and define freight terms to streamline logistics processes. - Coordinate with procurement, production, and sales teams to align logistics with overall business objectives. - Ensure compliance with regulatory and safety standards to uphold operational integrity. - Develop and implement logistics strategies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. - Manage vendor relationships and logistics contracts to support long-term partnerships. Key Requirements: - Bachelors degree in Engineering, MBA, Supply Chain, or related field. - 7-20 years of experience in logistics, preferably within the energy or biofuels industry. - Strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills to effectively lead logistics operations.
