Roles and Responsibilities 1. To manage and control Risk Containment Unit at Zonal Office 2. To maintain a quality credit appraisal system and ensure quality sanction time 3. To provide periodic training to the team members about the risk aspect and its mitigation 4. To ensure strict compliance of all the laid down guidelines before loan approvals 5. To ensure all the conditional sanctions are given only after receiving the satisfactory information from the Branch 6. To ensure the instruction given on the conditional sanctions cases are being followed and complied by the branches with in the stipulated time. 7. To educate the branches on various risk aspects for improving the credit and risk appraisal process at the branch level. 8. To ensure proper up keeping of approval/rejection, with easy access at any point of time 9. To ensure the clearance of all the loan approval cases before EOD 10. To report any major deviations to the Sr Management 12. To prepare and submit the Monthly MIS to the management 13. To participate in the quarterly Audit of RCU review of ROs Risk Management 1. To ensure receipt and scrutiny of FVRs approval/Rejection and take appropriate steps to safeguard the advances of high value customers (Aggregate loan o/s above 5Lacs) 2. To coordinate with FI consultant for timely completion of FVR and correction of deficiencies in reports 3. To report any deficiencies to sanctioning authority and get it rectified by branch 4. To risk rate the existing customer based on the criteria indicated 5. To have special focus on High Risk Customer and their transactions and ensure safety of advances.
