Risk Engineer Business Analyst

As a Market Risk Team Lead, your role involves leading a team of 2-3 analysts. You will be responsible for assigning tasks, providing mentorship, and escalating any issues related to Market risk processes. Your key responsibilities include: - Generating reports and monitoring VaR limits - Observing risk measures and taking corrective actions - Developing and performing reconciliations and DQ checks using Python and SQL - Performing UAT testing on data post-implementation of changes - Onboarding and maintaining time series data for risk measure calculations - Helping optimize processes to reduce turnaround time in the daily signoff process Qualifications required for this role include: - Experience in leading and guiding a global team towards delivering high-quality work aligned with project/client objectives - Understanding of Market risk, back testing, and FRTB regulations - Previous experience working with Python (Numpy) and SQL - Ability to independently navigate systems, access data, and identify discrepancies with minimal support - Excellent communication skills, fast learner, and team player - Cross-functional experience in handling issues with Risk, IT, and other business lines In addition, it is important for you to have a good understanding of systems and data flow. You will work closely with IT, MR, and developers to remediate any issues and errors effectively.,
