Risk Assessment

In this role at Bringle Academy, your primary responsibility will be to plan, design, and implement a comprehensive risk management process for the organization. Your activities will likely include: - Conducting risk assessment by analyzing, identifying, describing, and estimating risks affecting the business. - Evaluating risks by comparing them with established criteria such as costs, legal requirements, and environmental factors. You will also assess the organization's previous handling of risks. - Establishing and quantifying the organization's "risk appetite", determining the level of risk they are willing to accept. - Reporting risks in a suitable manner for various audiences, including the board of directors, business heads, and individuals. This will ensure understanding of the most significant risks and individual accountabilities. - Involvement in corporate governance through external risk reporting to stakeholders. - Implementing risk mitigation measures such as purchasing insurance, enforcing health and safety protocols, and creating business continuity plans. - Conducting audits of policies and compliance with standards, and collaborating with internal and external auditors. - Providing support, education, and training to staff to enhance risk awareness within the organization.
