Risk Analyst

Job Description:-

We are looking for a Risk Analyst to identify and mitigate risks across our recurring payment and dispute management processes. The role involves evaluating the risk of onboarding new businesses, monitoring transactional data to detect fraudulent or non-compliant behavior and analyzing chargebacks. The ideal candidate should have strong analytical skills, knowledge of payment gateways and disputes, and experience in fintech or financial services. The candidate will play a key role in shaping our risk strategy and protecting the company from financial and reputational losses.

Job Responsibilities:-

• Evaluate new businesses during onboarding for financial health, regulatory compliance, and fraud risk.
• Implement risk-based approval and review mechanisms for businesses submitting registration documents.
• Track behavior that may indicate synthetic identities, fake businesses, or abuse of the payment plan structure.
• Conduct deep-dive analysis on transactional data to detect patterns of risky behavior (both customer and merchant-side).
• Detect and respond to fraudulent activity from customers (e.g., failed payments, identity misuse) and businesses (e.g., fake registrations, non-service delivery).
• Monitor key risk indicators (KRIs) including dispute ratios, late payments, and business onboarding anomalies.
• Monitor and flag anomalies in recurring payment patterns (e.g. skipped payments, sudden cancellations).
• Identify and assess risks related to customer disputes, chargebacks, and fraud across the recurring payment cycle.
• Prepare regular reports on risk trends, emerging threats, and financial exposures to management.
• Use data to recommend policy updates, controls, or product adjustments.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹55,000.00 per year
