Job Purpose As an experienced, RCM professional this role will act as a consulting/advisory client with a focus on optimizing revenue cycle operations. The role requires strong expertise in billing, rejections, payment posting, and AR follow-up, along with a solid understanding of end-to-end RCM workflows and performance reporting. The ideal candidate will have experience across multiple specialties—particularly Primary Care, Orthopedics, Urgent Care/Emergency Medicine, and Radiology—and be proficient in various Practice Management Systems and EMRs (AdvancedMD is a plus). Experience collaborating with IT teams on workflow tools, reporting, or analytics is also highly valued. This position demands both hands-on operational knowledge and strategic insight to drive process improvements and efficiencies. Principal Accountabilities Strong understanding of end-to-end RCM processes, with a focus on billing, denial/rejection management, payment posting, and AR follow-up. Coding experience is not required, but familiarity with medical coding is a plus. Experience across multiple specialties, especially Primary Care, Orthopedics, Urgent Care/Emergency Medicine, and Radiology. Proficient in working with various Practice Management Systems and EMRs; experience with AdvancedMD is a strong advantage. Skilled in RCM workflows, with the ability to review data, identify issues, and prepare performance and operational reports. Experience collaborating with IT teams on tools such as workflow systems, reporting dashboards, or analytics engines is a plus. This role supports a consulting/advisory services client and requires both strategic insight and hands-on expertise. Related experience/ must- have skills /specific tools/ platforms/qualifications 5–7 years of relevant experience in Revenue Cycle Management, with hands-on exposure to billing, AR, payment posting, and performance reporting across multiple specialties and systems. This range strikes a balance—ensuring the candidate is senior enough to operate independently in a consulting/advisory capacsity, while still being hands-on and execution-focused. Proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Power BI (or similar tools). Strong English communication skills—both written and verbal. Hands-on, execution-focused individual; looking for a doer, not just a manager. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to review data, identify issues, assess risks, determine root causes, and recommend solutions.
