Retail Store Manager

Role Overview: You will be responsible for managing the Jayanagar outlet end-to-end, owning daily sales, customer experience, inventory accuracy, visual merchandising, and leading a small retail team. This role is ideal for a hands-on Store Manager with strong retail operations skills who can multitask and drive local sales. Key Responsibilities: - Drive daily sales and conversion, coach floor team on product knowledge and upselling - Manage opening/closing procedures, cash handling, and daily reconciliations - Maintain visual merchandising, planograms, and attractive local displays for festivals/promotions - Oversee stock receipts, conduct simple cycle counts, manage basic stock transfers, and minimize shrinkage - Handle customer service escalations, returns/exchanges, and ensure high customer satisfaction - Manage a small team of 3-6 staff including rostering, training, and basic performance reviews - Implement local store marketing strategies, run neighbourhood promotions, and collaborate with regional marketing for store-level activations - Generate simple reports on daily sales, stock levels, staff hours, and basic KPI updates Qualifications Required: - Minimum 2-5 years of retail experience with at least 1 year in a supervisory/lead role - Proven track record of meeting monthly sales targets in a store environment - Proficiency with POS systems, Google Sheets, and basic Excel - Strong communication and people skills with a customer-first attitude - Willingness to work weekends and during local festival peaks Additional Details: The company is looking for candidates who have experience in lifestyle, jewellery, gifting, or spiritual products.
