Job Summary

We are looking for a highly experienced and result-driven Retail Sales Manager (RSM) to lead and expand our retail sales operations. The ideal candidate should have over 10 years of proven experience in retail sales management, team leadership, dealer network handling, and revenue growth—preferably in the tiles, sanitary industry.

The RSM will be responsible for developing the retail sales strategy, managing sales teams, driving business development, and ensuring consistent achievement of targets across the assigned region.

Key Responsibilities

Sales Strategy & Business Growth

• Develop and execute retail sales strategies to achieve monthly and annual revenue targets.
• Expand market presence by appointing new dealers, distributors, and retail partners.
• Identify new business opportunities and emerging market trends.

Team Management

• Lead, mentor, and monitor the performance of the retail sales team.
• Conduct regular training sessions for sales executives and showroom teams.
• Set KPIs and track achievement of targets across regions.

Retail Operations & Channel Management

• Manage retail channel partners and ensure smooth operations.
• Strengthen customer relationships to increase sales and brand visibility.
• Coordinate with marketing for in-store promotions, visual merchandising, and branding activities.

Performance Monitoring & Reporting

• Analyze sales data, prepare forecasts, and present monthly performance reports.
• Monitor competitor activities and suggest improvements.
• Ensure effective implementation of pricing policies, discount structures, and schemes.

Coordination & Internal Processes

• Work closely with the supply chain, warehouse, accounts, and management teams to ensure timely product availability.
• Resolve escalated customer or dealer issues efficiently.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of experience in retail sales, preferably in tiles, sanitary ware, ceramics, or building materials.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities.
• Deep understanding of retail sales operations, dealer networks, and regional markets.
• Strong analytical ability with expertise in MS Excel, CRM, and sales reporting.
• Proven track record of achieving high sales targets.
• Ability to travel for market visits and dealer meetings.
