Retail Sales Assistant

As a Retail Sales Assistant, your role involves driving sales of the rice mills retail products by developing customer relationships, increasing market reach, and ensuring excellent service delivery. You will be responsible for promoting and selling various rice grades and pack sizes to retailers, wholesalers, distributors, supermarkets, and institutional buyers. Your key responsibilities will include: - Maintaining retail cash and stock, interacting with customers to understand their needs, address complaints, and record readings from digital meters. - Coordinating with sales office, warehouse, and dispatch teams. - Executing promotional activities such as in-store branding, sampling campaigns, and product demonstrations. - Collecting orders from retail counters and distributors and coordinating with the dispatch team for timely supply. - Ensuring product availability and visibility at retail points. - Monitoring stock levels at distributor/retailer points and suggesting replenishments. To qualify for this role, you should have: - Education: 10+2 or Graduate (preferably in Business, Marketing, or Agriculture). - Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years in FMCG, Rice Mill, or Grain sales. - Languages: Proficiency in the local language and basic English/Hindi depending on the region.
