Retail Operation Head – Airport Stores Job Summary: We are seeking a strategic, experienced, and results-driven Retail Operation Head – Airport Stores to lead and oversee our retail operations across multiple airport locations. This role is pivotal to the growth and success of our airport retail business, and demands deep experience specifically in airport retail along with strong industry connections at various airports . The ideal candidate will be responsible for optimizing operational performance, identifying opportunities for new store openings in high-traffic zones , and building strategic brand partnerships tailored to the unique demands of airport retail. Key Responsibilities: Oversee and coordinate day-to-day operations of all retail stores located within airports, ensuring smooth and efficient functioning. Identify and assess prime store locations within airports based on passenger flow, visibility, and commercial potential. Utilize strong networks and connections at airports to support expansion plans and gain insights into upcoming opportunities. Meet and negotiate with brand partners, finalizing partnerships to open their stores within airport retail spaces. Lead and manage a team of regional managers and store-level leadership, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability. Work cross-functionally with merchandising, logistics, HR, marketing, and finance teams to deliver seamless store operations. Coordinate with external stakeholders including airport retail management, concessionaires, and brand vendors. Ideal Candidate Profile: Proven track record of retail leadership within airport environments; experience in managing multi-brand, multi-location setups is essential. Well-established professional connections at various airports to aid in expansion and operational success. Strong experience in retail site planning, especially identifying strategic, high-footfall locations in airport terminals. Demonstrated success in developing and finalizing partnerships with brands for store openings and retail collaborations. Strong leadership, team-building, and communication skills. Excellent analytical and strategic thinking abilities; able to use data to guide decisions and improve business outcomes. Familiarity with airport-specific operations, customer behavior, and retail regulations. Proactive, results-driven, and adaptable to the fast-paced, dynamic nature of airport retail.
