Job Description

As the State Retail Head Store Openings, your role is pivotal in driving the strategic expansion of the retail footprint across the state. You will be responsible for identifying high-potential locations, overseeing new store launches, and ensuring operational excellence and financial success. Your strong project management skills and ability to lead cross-functional teams will be crucial in this fast-paced retail environment. **Key Responsibilities:** - **Strategic Planning & Expansion** - Develop and execute a state-level expansion roadmap aligned with the company's retail growth strategy. - Conduct market research and demographic analysis to pinpoint viable micro-locations for new store development. - Evaluate site potential using strategic metrics and feasibility studies. - **Project Management** - Lead the complete store opening lifecycle from planning, design, and build-out to launch and post-opening support. - Collaborate with real estate, construction, design, marketing, and operations teams. - Negotiate lease agreements, ensure regulatory compliance, and monitor budgets and timelines. - **Sales & Operations** - Set sales and profitability targets for new store launches. - Ensure operational readiness including inventory management, staffing, and technology implementation. - Analyze sales data, track performance metrics, and drive strategies for continuous improvement. - **Team Leadership & Development** - Recruit, train, and mentor store leadership and staff for new locations. - Foster a performance-driven culture focused on customer needs, teamwork, and growth. - Create a positive and inclusive workplace environment to encourage team engagement. - **Stakeholder Management** - Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, franchisees, landlords, and external partners. - Provide regular updates to leadership on store opening progress, challenges, and achievements. - Act as the primary contact for state-level retail expansion matters. - **Compliance & Standards** - Ensure new stores comply with local regulations, safety protocols, and company policies. - Maintain visual merchandising and brand identity standards across all locations. **Skills & Qualifications:** - Minimum 5-10 years of retail operations experience, focusing on new store openings and expansion. - Proven ability to manage large-scale, multi-location retail projects. - Strong leadership skills with expertise in team development and management. - Proficiency in budgeting, financial planning, and performance analysis. - Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management abilities. - Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, or a related field (MBA preferred). - Willingness to travel extensively within the state as required. In this full-time role, you will enjoy benefits such as paid sick time and Provident Fund. The work schedule is during the day shift, and relocation to Hyderabad, Telangana, is required. A Bachelor's degree is preferred, along with a minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience. The work location is in person. ,
