Job Description

As a Resort Manager, you will have the responsibility of overseeing the daily operations of the resort to ensure exceptional guest experiences and maintain high standards of quality and service. Your role will encompass various key responsibilities including: - Overall Management: You will lead the daily operations of the resort, focusing on providing outstanding guest experiences and upholding high standards of quality and service. - Staff Management: Your duties will involve managing a team of staff across departments such as front desk, housekeeping, food and beverage, and maintenance. - Guest Services: You will be in charge of ensuring that guests receive excellent service, addressing feedback, and promptly resolving any issues that may arise. - Revenue Management: Your role will include developing and implementing strategies to maximize revenue, occupancy, and average daily rate (ADR) for the resort. - Marketing and Sales: Collaboration with marketing teams to promote the resort, establish connections with travel agents, and develop relationships with corporate clients. - Financial Management: You will be responsible for managing budgets, forecasts, and financial reports to ensure that the resort meets its financial targets. - Maintenance and Upkeep: Ensuring that the resort's facilities, amenities, and infrastructure are well-maintained. - Safety and Security: Implementing safety and security protocols to safeguard the resort and its guests. In addition to these key responsibilities, essential skills and qualities required for this role include: - Leadership: Demonstrating strong leadership and management skills. - Communication: Possessing excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Problem-Solving: Having the ability to address issues promptly and effectively. - Attention to Detail: Showing a keen attention to detail. - Flexibility: Being adaptable to changing circumstances. The ideal candidate for this position should have a Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Business Administration, or a related field, along with proven experience in resort management or a similar role.
