About us : Quinta Essentia – The Montessori centre for study and work (recognised by Association Montessori International) is a Montessori program for adolescents residential at a farm; Quinta Essentia, is a unit of Vruksha international school of Montessori, a chain of “authentic” Montessori schools that goes up to 12th grade having presence across Tamil Nadu & Pondicherry. We are looking to hire creative & enthusiastic educators with high levels of energy, willing to work with a community of adolescents (aged 12-18 years) residential in a farm. Location : Murukam , near Pondicherry, India Role : Subject Matter Expert Primary Responsibilities : - Helping the adolescents to learn academics in-line with IGCSE Framework - Guiding the adolescents individually to face IGCSE exams - Working alongside the adolescents in the farm everyday - Offering lessons connected to real life experiences - Offering lessons in line with the work of the farm, connecting curriculum with practical application Additional Responsibilities include : - Participating in their life as an adult role model - Inspiring and motivating the adolescents in order to support moral and social development - Minimal usage of mobile phones while in the community Minimum Qualifications : - Age : 25 – 40 years - Bachelors in Science - Chemistry o Language(s) – English, Tamil, Hindi, French o Arts – Creative Art, Theatres, etc o Sciences –Chemistry,Environmental Studies, Math, Physics, Biology, History, Geography, Astronomy, Economy, Environment, etc - 5+ years of proven experience working with international schools with boards like IGCSE/IB.
