Job Title: Resident Sales Engineer / Manager – Madhya Pradesh Department: Sales Reporting To: Regional Sales Manager Location: Indore / Bhopal Job Purpose The Resident Sales Engineer / Manager will be responsible for driving regional sales and enhancing customer relationships across Madhya Pradesh for Aquarius’s product line, including boom pumps, line pumps, and batching plants for RMC. The role involves achieving assigned sales targets, providing technical and commercial support to customers, managing dealer relationships, and expanding the company’s market share in the region. Key Responsibilities Sales & Business Development Identify prospective clients and new business opportunities in Madhya Pradesh. Develop and execute effective sales strategies to meet regional sales targets. Conduct market analysis to understand customer needs and emerging trends. Customer Relationship Management Build and nurture strong, long-term relationships with existing and potential customers. Serve as the primary contact for all customer inquiries, providing product details, pricing, and technical assistance. Conduct regular site visits to understand customer applications and offer tailored solutions. Dealer Management Coordinate with local dealers to support sales activities and drive market penetration. Provide training and guidance to dealer teams to enhance product understanding and improve sales effectiveness. Sales Reporting & Market Feedback Prepare and present timely sales reports, forecasts, and pipeline updates. Monitor competitor activity and provide insights to inform strategic planning. Technical Support & Demonstrations Organize product demonstrations and technical presentations for clients and dealers. Liaise with service and technical support teams to address customer concerns and ensure quick resolution of technical issues. Required Qualifications Education Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field. An MBA would be an added advantage. Experience Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales, preferably in the construction equipment or heavy machinery sector. Prior experience and knowledge of the Madhya Pradesh market is highly desirable. Language Proficiency Fluent in Hindi and English (both written and spoken). Competencies Core Competencies Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. High self-motivation, results-driven mindset, and ability to work independently. Technical Competencies Sound knowledge of construction machinery, especially boom pumps, line pumps, and RMC batching plants. Ability to convey technical concepts effectively during customer interactions and product demonstrations. Working Conditions This is a field-based role based out of Indore or Bhopal, involving frequent travel across the Madhya Pradesh region. A mix of on-site customer visits and coordination from a home or regional office environment.
