Job Title: Resident Medical Officer (RMO) Hospital: Kasturba Speciality Hospital, Vishrantwadi, Pune Job Type: Full-time (Rotational Shifts – Morning, Evening & Night) Qualification: MBBS / BAMS Salary: ₹25,000 – ₹35,000 per month (based on experience) + Incentives --- Job Description: Kasturba Speciality Hospital is seeking a committed and responsible Resident Medical Officer (RMO) to join our multi-speciality healthcare team. The ideal candidate should have strong clinical skills, a patient-first attitude, and the ability to manage hospital responsibilities efficiently across all shifts. --- Key Responsibilities: Patient Care & Clinical Management: Perform initial assessment, history taking, and clinical examination of all OPD/IPD patients Monitor vitals, administer/verify treatments, and ensure timely patient care Assist Consultants in daily rounds, procedures, and clinical decision-making Handle emergencies and provide immediate medical support when required Manage pre-operative and post-operative care Coordination & Communication: Coordinate with nursing, paramedical, and administrative teams for smooth workflow Provide condition updates to patient attendants as per hospital policy Ensure all orders, investigations, and treatment plans are executed accurately Documentation & Compliance: Maintain proper case notes, consent forms, progress charts, and discharge summaries Ensure accurate medical documentation as per hospital and NABH standards Report any clinical incidents or complications to the Consultant immediately Operational Support: Manage admissions, transfers, and discharge processes Support infection control and patient safety protocols Ensure smooth functioning of departments during the assigned shift --- Required Qualifications: MBBS or BAMS from a recognized institute Valid Medical Council Registration (State/National) Basic clinical skills and ability to handle emergencies Strong communication and teamwork abilities --- Benefits: Salary: ₹25,000 – ₹35,000 based on experience Attractive incentive structure Professional growth and multi-speciality exposure Supportive and structured work environment
