Research ManagerIndependent Contributor RoleGurugram, IndiaThe Research Manager is responsible for performing primarily online market research aimed at gathering data that can be used to make informed business decisions.The Research Manager is required to work through the brief given by the client to formulate questionnaires, collect data and thereafter provide analysis and presentations. The candidate should be able to analyse autonomously data, trends, strategies and competition.Kantar is the world’s leading data, insights and consulting company. Key Outcomes
- Creating client proposals based on the research brief received.
- Communicating with the client, develop a thorough understanding of the questions that the clients expect to be answered from the study
- Designing effective research instruments like online Questionnaire based on project objectives and market knowledge
- Analysing and interpreting data to identify patterns and solutions
- Identify market trends and patterns
- Create reports, present and make recommendations to clients
- Overseeing end to end project deliverables with a team of Project Managers
- Weekly workflow meeting and updating all the stakeholders.
- Any other duties delegated
Key Capabilities
- 4 or more years’ experience.
- Degree in Statistics/ Marketing / Business is preferred.
- Knowledge of research methodologies and techniques.
- Superior knowledge with technological tools like Excel and PowerPoint. Knowledge of SPSS or any statistical software is plus.
- Exposure to tools like PowerBI or Tableau etc for Dashboarding is a big plus.
- Preferably worked in online market research domain.
- Strong analytical and logical skills.
- Detail oriented, strong organizational skills with a proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet aggressive deadlines
- Ability to understand complex challenges, evaluate and set priorities, and develop creative and practical solutions
- Excellent communication (both oral and written), attention to detail and follow-up skills are essential.
