Position Title:- Research & Development Manager (Herbal & Nutraceutical Manufacturing)

Location:- Selaqui, Dehradun

Reporting to:- CEO/Managing Director

Educational Qualifications:- M.Sc./Ph.D in Food Science, Biotechnology, Pharmaceuticals, or related fields.

Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in R & D within the nutraceutical or related industry.

Job Description:- The R & D Manager is responsible for overseeing the formulation and development of pharmaceutical or consumer products. This role requires expertise in designing and optimizing formulations, managing project timelines, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure product quality and compliance with regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:-

· Product Development:

· Lead the development of innovative nutraceutical products, including dietary supplements, functional foods, and health-related products.

· Formulate new products from concept to launch, ensuring alignment with market trends and consumer needs.

· Manage formulation, stability studies, and product testing to ensure quality and efficacy.

· Research & Innovation:

· Conduct in-depth research on ingredients, new technologies, and trends in the nutraceutical industry.

· Identify and evaluate new raw materials, suppliers, and manufacturing processes.

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive innovation in product development.

· Regulatory Compliance:

· Ensure that all products meet relevant regulatory and safety standards, including FSSAI, FDA, and other applicable regulations.

· Prepare and review documentation for regulatory submissions and product registrations.

· Team Leadership:

· Lead and mentor the R&D team, providing technical guidance and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.

· Manage project timelines, resources, and budgets to ensure successful and timely product launches.

· Quality Control:

· Oversee quality control processes for R&D, ensuring that all products are manufactured to the highest standards. Work closely with quality assurance teams to develop and implement quality systems and protocols.

· Collaboration & Communication:

· Collaborate with marketing, sales, and production teams to ensure successful product commercialization.

· Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, including suppliers, customers, and regulatory bodies.

· Market & Consumer Insights:

· Analyze market trends, consumer preferences, and competitor activities to inform product development strategies.

· Utilize consumer feedback and market data to continuously improve product offerings.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹70,000.00 - ₹80,000.00 per month
