Skills and Competencies 1-2 years of experience in QA testing of applications & platforms following manual and automation testing processes. Knowledge of automation testing tools and agile framework using of Jira and Confluence would be added advantage. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills - Strong problem-solving and time management skills, with the capacity to work independently and learn new skills. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills required to effectively communicate. Ability to work effectively in a team, manage multiple tasks, and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Education Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Role & Responsibilities Engage proactively in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure all business requirements are fulfilled. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into effective test cases. Assist in creating and maintaining comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test data. Develop and execute automated test scripts to improve testing efficiency and expand coverage. Conduct manual testing to detect defects and confirm the functionality of business applications. Document and report defects with detailed information for the development team to facilitate resolution. Participate in all phases of the testing lifecycle, including planning, execution, and closure. Provide regular updates on testing progress and outcomes to the QA Lead and other stakeholders. Continuously enhance testing processes and methodologies to ensure the delivery of high-quality software releases. About The Team The primary role of the Business Functional UAT Testing team is to ensure that all product enhancements and bug fixes are thoroughly tested and validated before they are deployed to the production environment. This involves a meticulous process of identifying issues, reporting them, and ensuring they are resolved promptly to maintain the highest quality standards. Effective communication and escalation are crucial to our success, as is staying informed about current, new, and resolved issues, including any necessary workarounds.
