Position Overview: We are looking for a skilled and research-oriented Research Associate with a background in Mechanical Engineering , proficient in AutoCAD , SOLIDWORKS , and Finite Element Analysis (FEA) tools. The ideal candidate will contribute to the design, analysis, and optimization of mechanical systems through simulation, modeling, and technical documentation. Key Responsibilities: Design & Development: Create detailed 2D/3D CAD models and assemblies using SOLIDWORKS and AutoCAD. Develop and refine prototypes and mechanical designs for R&D projects. Simulation & Analysis: Perform FEA simulations to evaluate stress, strain, deformation, and thermal behavior. Interpret simulation results and optimize designs based on performance outcomes. Research & Innovation: Conduct applied research to develop new mechanical solutions or enhance existing systems. Assist in prototyping, testing, and evaluating mechanical components. Documentation & Reporting: Prepare comprehensive technical reports, design documentation, and research presentations. Maintain accurate records of simulation parameters and test results. Collaboration & Coordination: Work closely with fellow researchers, design engineers, and project stakeholders. Contribute to interdisciplinary teams involving electronics, materials science, and automation. Requirements Required Skills & Qualifications: PHD/ M.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or a related field Strong proficiency in SOLIDWORKS, AutoCAD, and FEA tools (e.g., ANSYS, SOLIDWORKS Simulation) Knowledge of mechanical design principles, GD&T, and material properties Ability to analyze complex systems and propose data-driven design improvements Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong problem-solving mindset and attention to detail Preferred Skills (Added Advantage): Experience with product development, R&D labs, or academic research projects Familiarity with 3D printing, prototyping, or IoT-integrated mechanical systems Exposure to patent filing and technical drawing documentation Requirements Required Skills Basic programming skills: Python, C, C++. Familiarity with Arduino, Raspberry Pi, ESP32, or STM32 platforms. Hands-on exposure to IoT protocols (MQTT, BLE, Wi-Fi). Understanding of supervised and unsupervised machine learning models. Working knowledge of MATLAB for simulations and modeling. Preferred Skills (Good to Have) Prior mini-projects, internships, or academic work in IoT/Embedded/AI-ML. Experience in micro controller coding, sensor interfacing, and cloud IoT platforms. Knowledge of libraries like TensorFlow, scikit-learn, or MATLAB toolboxes.
