Research And Documentation Assistant (2 Months) Internship in Ahmedabad (Hybrid)

Selected Intern’s Day-to-day Responsibilities Include

• Research, write, and think critically: connect threads between people, places, and practices to create compelling heritage narratives.
• Document fieldwork through detailed field notes, photography, videography, and sketches.
• Travel to field sites and reach out and collaborate with communities, local stakeholders, and institutions to verify data, gather background information, and obtain permissions.
• Prepare basic social media content (as per requirement): draft captions, shortlist images/video clips, and schedule posts tailored to different platforms.
• Create clear infographics and data visualizations from field data (maps, timelines, object inventories, simple charts) for reports.
• Produce regular deliverables: field reports, photo/video logs, archive-ready scans, and short social posts or storyboards.
• Reach out to local authorities, experts, or institutions.
• Perform basic data scraping and digital research: extract relevant information from online archives, open data sources, and institutional repositories.
